We’re tackling this project a little differently this go round: once the writing is complete on a song, were gonna set it up for complete focus to finish the recording on just that one, and move on to mixing it. Just an experiment to see if the focus and drive helps the momentum of the project as a whole. Who knows, perhaps we will go back to the regular explosion of creativity and random focus points, making it all up as we go.....there are no rules here.
I love days like this, plugging in, turning up, and escaping in the sounds.
Layering parts to a song in the studio is definitely like building a house, and Al Berven just poured the foundation for a batch of these new songs. Now it’s time to build the walls and add a roof.
After the last project, and acquiring a new guitar...there has been much inspiration for creating new songs and sounds. Samples to be posted at some point, but in the mean time, here are a few of the working titles for the upcoming project, Relaxing Makes Me Nervous!
